In case you missed it ...

Let's take a look at lick no 7 in the style of Buddy Guy.

So starting off on the 10th fret, bending up a full tone ... 10th fret of the E string ... I go to the 8th fret of the E string, little staccato note, little short note ... and then land on the B string 10th fret ... and give a little bit of vibratto with my third finger ...

I now move down to my A minor pentatonic position and I play a little run which takes me from the 8th fret to the 5th fret on the B string ... now the 7th fret to the 5th fret on the D (ahem "G") string ... and finishing up on my A note, which is on the 7th fret of the D string ... drop underneath, so bend my third finger back and I'm grabbing that 7th fret of the G string straight underneath it ... return back to my A note on the D string 7th fret ... and landing on the 5th fret of the G string ... final note ...is my E note which is on the A string 7th fret ...

So taking a look at the right and left hand together ... with a down stroke, up-up stroke ... and this is just alternate picking on the second section ...

That concludes lick no 7 in the style of Buddy Guy.
